I had some fun this weekend with the ARRL RTTY Roundup. I enjoy the fast exchanges on RTTY and the slight degree of automation through click and enter exchanges.
This year with a big pause overnight and for Sunday church service, I managed to log 260 QSOs. I’m not sure that will earn me much in the way of contest ranking. As I look back my earlier results were:
- 2013 — 416 QSOs and 7th in the West Gulf Division
- 2014 — 555 QSOs and 5th in the West Gulf Division
- 2015 — 402 QSOs and 3rd in the West Gulf Division
It’s a fun contest and always a delight to hear many of the usual call signs on the air.
