Perhaps I’ve been able to improve the ergonomics of my ham shack this week. We’ll see sometime during the CQ-WW contest this coming weekend.
I had decided to add the keyboard shelf to my ham shack table. A quick browse through the IKEA online store and about $20 later it was on my doorstep. I installed it today but not without taking the entire shack apart, turning the table upside down, and installing the key board shelf. While there, I installed the power strip on the table rather than laying it in the cable run. It makes quite a difference to the organization of things behind the scenes.
The rest of the day was devoted to Thanksgiving celebrations with my family. Brooke was home from college and Kendal with us for her usual weekend visit, just a few days early. I hope you had a great Thanksgiving as well.
